Tamworth Cricket Academy – Terms & Conditions
Effective: 19 May 2025
These Terms & Conditions apply to all participants, parents/guardians, and associated parties engaging with Tamworth Cricket Academy ("TCA", "we", "our"). By registering for any TCA program, scholarship, session, or service, you agree to the following terms.
1. Overview
By participating in any TCA program, you:
Confirm you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
Acknowledge the inherent risks of physical activity and cricket participation.
Agree to follow all conduct standards and facility rules as set by TCA.
2. Bookings & Payments
TCA operates as a subscription-based coaching service. All bookings are made via the TCA website.
Payment is processed either in full or via subscription instalments through Stripe.
Participants may cancel their subscription at any time via their online account. Cancellations take effect immediately, and access to the Athlete Resource Hub is revoked without retrospective access.
TCA does not offer refunds for unused or missed sessions.
3. Session Attendance & Rescheduling
There are no individual session cancellations.
If an athlete cannot attend their usual session, they may request to attend a different session in the same week, subject to availability and TCA approval.
All changes must be arranged prior to the session and are not guaranteed.
4. Conduct Expectations
All athletes, parents, and coaches are expected to adhere to a high standard of conduct:
Arrive 10 minutes early and be ready for training.
Engage positively and respectfully with coaches and teammates.
Refrain from physical contact unless consent is given and it is appropriate.
Coaches and parents must not use abusive, offensive, or disruptive behaviour.
Any physical or verbal abuse will result in immediate removal from the program.
5. Equipment, Facilities & Responsibility
Participants must bring suitable equipment, hydration, and sun protection.
Any damage to equipment or facilities caused by a participant will be charged to the participant or their parent/guardian.
All users must follow the rules of the venues where TCA sessions are conducted.
6. Injury, Illness & Weather Policy
Injuries must be disclosed to the coach prior to the session.
If an athlete becomes injured or unable to train, they may cancel or pause their subscription through their account.
Sessions are held indoors. No weather-related cancellations apply.
7. Liability
Participation in TCA programs is at your own risk.
TCA is not liable for injury, financial loss, property damage, or incidental costs.
TCA is not liable for the actions or conduct of its coaches.
All TCA coaches hold valid Working With Children Checks and police background checks.
8. Media, Content & Communication Consent
By enrolling, you give TCA consent to use images, video, and performance content for coaching, marketing, and promotional purposes.
Media may be published on TCA platforms including the website, social media, and email newsletters. To opt out, notify us in writing.
You consent to communication directly from TCA or its coaching staff using the contact details provided.
9. Privacy & Online Use
TCA collects and stores data solely for administration, communication, and program delivery.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18 without parental consent. By accessing our site, it is assumed that consent has been granted.
All data is stored securely and not shared with third parties without permission.
10. Policy Compliance
Participants must comply with TCA policies and facility rules at all times.
Breaches may result in exclusion from the program with no refund.
11. Scholarship Terms
Each term, one (1) junior cricketer may be awarded a TCA Scholarship.
The scholarship provides free access to all TCA sessions and benefits for that 10-week term.
After the 10-week period, the athlete must become a paying member to continue participating in TCA programs.
The scholarship does not guarantee selection for any teams, representative pathways, or future opportunities — it covers membership access only.
Selection is based on a combination of potential, attitude, alignment with TCA values, and application responses. The selection process is subjective and final.
The TCA coaching team reserves full discretion in scholarship decisions and may remove a recipient at any time for non-compliance with conduct or attendance expectations.
Scholarship recipients will be notified via email and publicly announced on TCA’s social media.
Recipients may be featured in TCA promotional content during or after the scholarship period.
Scholarship participants are bound by all standard TCA Terms & Conditions, including conduct, injury, and facility rules, as applicable to paid athletes.
12. Updates to Terms
These Terms may be updated at any time. The version in place at the time of registration will apply.
Significant changes will be communicated via email or the TCA website.
